About

Once a page/website/community for showcasing Emma's jewellery, now a platform for many jewellers (beginners included) to learn, purchase quality jewellery making essentials, showcase their art and grow.
The Origins
Creative, progressive and eclectic, Emma is a Melbourne based artist who has spent 6 years making unique pieces of jewellery individually by hand. These years came baring a number of challenges navigating a confusing and sometimes fickle industry. From spending $1600 on 2 night courses (part 1 and part 2 (part 2 had the interesting stuff!), to being scammed by gemstone dealers, to paying over $1000 a month to be retailed on a well-known platform (and selling nothing through them) to learning that paying $25 for someone to polish one ring is a rip off - the journey was long.
From these experiences, the idea of turning this platform into a 'hub' for jewellers, artists and gem lovers was born.
This platform is now evolving quickly, and will soon include learning material & products designed to help make jewellery crafting an affordable and straight-forward venture, essential jewellery making equipment and gemstones for reasonable prices, and the artwork of other jewellers & artists for showcasing and sale. Here you can focus on what's important, learn what takes years to learn and spend more time creating.
Emma's jewellery was originally heavily influenced by the organic, colourful and eccentric architecture of Antoni Gaudí, underpinning a modern take on the ancient art of jewellery making. By creating and absorbing art that is expressive, contemporary & evocative (and often sitting on someones finger or around their neck!), reflects the idea of hand-made jewellery as a unique and powerful form of expression through wearable art. This led to the conception of this platform as a hub for all artists creating wearable pieces.
