local artist #1: COASTAL COLLECTIVE

Coastal Collective is a small jewellery business created by artist Lucy Church. As the name would suggest, all pieces are hand crafted in the quaint coastal town of Point Lonsdale located in Victoria. Her art is influenced by the wonders of the rocky coast and beyond, and this collection ranges from the shoreside 'Rockpool Ring' to the deep sea 'Ariel's Necklace'.

Lucy has been crafting jewellery since childhood, and has come a long way since her "Chokers R Us" business venture created at age eight! During the Covid-19 lockdowns, she used her spare time to dive into courses and developed a passion for the wax casting process, a method of jewellery making which allows full flexibility in carving, sculpting and creating her organic ocean-inspired shapes.
